This flat drop fiber optic cable can have from 1 to 4 fibers and it is reinforced by two FRP fiberglass strength members and protected by a plastic outer jacket. FRP cables are lightweight yet provide good mechanical protection for the fiber, and they can be used for indoor and outdoor fiber optic applications.
